Polishing Horween Shell Cordovan with a deer bone is the best method to remove wrinkles as well as small scratches.
For a correct use, simply hold both ends of the bone and rub your shoes in a downward motion over the clean surface of your shoes. Do remember to insert your shoetrees beforehand. Always rub the smoothest part of the bone over the area you would like to treat and apply as much preasure as you can without harming the surface.
Natural oils help restore the shine and texture of cordovan and will leave a slightly matte layer over the leather which can then be brushed off with a polishng brush. We can then apply a very small amount of cordovan cream throughout the shoes and polish thoroughly. Store your Cordovan polish bone in a plastic bag to avoid dryness.
